Originally from Newark, NJ, Aliza is an actor, writer, bonafide sci-fi nerd, and NASA superfan. She is one of the director/producers of Impro Studio Presents: The Improvised Generation and serves as Impro Theatre’s Development and Outreach Director. Film and TV credits include: House of Lies, Days of Our Lives, To Tell The Truth; feature films Something is Killing Tate, Everything Before Us, and Newly Single; Funny or Die viral video A Game of Thrones Halloween; digital videos for WongFu Productions, Blavity, Mitú, and Black and Sexy TV; Comediva webseries BAMF Girls Club, and various commercials. Aliza has been a member of Impro LAB since 2015, and has performed in Impro Studio shows The Improvised Generation, Ripley Improv, Oregon Trail Uncharted, X-Files Unclassified, Home for the Holidays, and Inspector Oxford. She is an alumni of UCB and is part of the all black female indie improv group Essence Improv. Aliza writes and produces sci-fi, comedy, and other content that features diversity in front of and behind the camera. Aliza co-writes and stars in the Star Trek-inspired sci-fi series The Listener: Spectral Awakening.
