Jill Hoffman

Born and raised in New Hampshire, Jill has been dedicated to making people laugh for most of her life.  She first made her way to “stardom” modeling science experiments for 5th grade science textbooks as the “Hearing Impaired Girl” – despite the fact that she was neither hearing impaired nor knew the first thing about science.  She then made her way to San Francisco and earned her BFA in Motion Pictures and Television from the Academy of Art University, while there she won the Academy’s award for Best Performer in 2004.  That same year, Jill landed the role of a re-enactor for a Japanese Television show.  If you ask her nicely, she will show you the footage of her being dubbed in Japanese.  It’s quite the sight. She is the co-creator of “The Real Cat Therapist of Beverly Hills” and the “Lucky Penny Presents” series of short films. Jill has been studying improv with the Groundlings School, Turbine ArtsCollective (where she is an Associate Artist) and the Impro Theater for the past several years. She can be seen at least once a month performing with one of her various improv troupes in Los Angeles.
