Jen Reiter grew up in Berkeley, CA and discovered herself to be an actress on the Florence Schwimmley Little Theatre stage during a performance of "Dance:10 Looks:3" from A Chorus Line. Jen is a proud graduate of the University of Southern California School of Theatre where she earned her BFA in Acting. She has performed internationally at the Pierre Cardin Theatre in Paris as well as at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival where she performed 13 shows in rep with Festival USC-USA. She has been a long time contributor to the Los Angeles Theatre scene whether it be playing Kokol in The Blue House’s award winning production of Marat/Sade at Sacred Fools, or trekking up a hill in Griffith Park to perform Mac Wellman’s Crowtet. She has been working with Impro Theatre for almost 10 years now, first as a guest artist in Sondheim UnScripted at the Falcon Theatre (now the Gary Marshall Theatre), then as a show creator & director at the Impro Studio stage in Los Feliz (Nancy Drew Unsolved, Tough Begonias). Other credits include The Office, Married, Mulaney, The Exes and a yogurt commercial she booked by licking John Stamos’ face. If you have small children you may recognize her as the voice of Mother on Nick Jr’s Olivia. Recently her improvised film The Living Worst received the Best Ensemble Award at the Downtown LA Film Festival and she can soon be seen in the upcoming film Doula.
